WEAVING PICTURES: BEGINNING TAPESTRY

WHAT IS TAPESTRY

Tapestry is a weft-faced weave, which means the weaver creates images as she completely covers the warp threads with many colors of weft yarn. Handwoven tapestry can be found in many cultures around the world over several millennia.

WHERE ARE THE CLASSES

I hold my classes in person in my studio in Port Royal, SC. We will meet for three hours once a week in my studio. The course fee includes a small tapestry loom and the yarn for weaving a finished tapestry.
